Amor Fati. Love of Fate.

Amor Fati. Love of Fate.

“Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart.”

– Marcus Aurelius

As philosophers, the Stoics were pragmatists.  A most compelling Stoic idea is that everything, and everyone you come across in life, is fuel for your journey and advancement as a person.  In that sense, there are no wrong turns.  You are always where you are supposed to be.

If where you are is where you’re supposed to be, then there is no reason not to put your whole heart into this and every moment.  There is nothing to resist and everything to embrace.
